My father wrote in his journals daily, and surely those who knew him also knew he fancied himself a poet. As I read through the years of entries I see reflected in his writing the values he instilled in me and things I’ve yet to learn about him. I’ve been trying to get him to type and publish more of his works for a long time, it’s not too late.
Every several days I intend to transcribe and post the appropriate things, and certainly some of the other kind too. Political, poetic, cute, serious, reflective, semi-legally ‘inspired’, there is quite a bit of writing for me to read through.

Mitch, a most fitting way to honor your Dad, and so he lives on. I will visit the site often. How much more appropriate than visiting a grave . . . though I hold nothing against grave sites or cemeteries . . . thank you, Mitch.
